ILLUMRA, the leader in wireless battery-free controls, announced it has signed an exclusive agreement to sell the Probare P30 link analyzer in the United States and Canada. The new product allows specifiers and installers to plan, verify and maintain EnOcean based wireless networks. The hand-held analyzer is available in 315MHz and 868MHz versions. The new product can be seen at LIGHTFAIR International (LFI), May 17-19 in Philadelphia in EnOcean/ILLUMRA booth #2345.Link Analyzer

“We are happy to strengthen our relationship with ILLUMRA by offering the P30 through their professional organization,” said Thomas Rieder, managing director at Probare. “Their knowledge and experience with EnOcean products and technology compliment the features of the P30. The powerful tool allows planners and installers alike to save time and money while providing confidence about the reliability and quality of their installations.”

“With a large backlit LCD display that is easy to read even under difficult lighting conditions,” said Jan Finlinson, director at ILLUMRA. “The P30 is a great tool for creating EnOcean based control networks.”

The analyzer has four analyzer modes that test links, repeaters, and networks and also includes the ability to remotely control EnOcean based products. Power is supplied from two “AA” batteries. A wide-range AC power supply, including a USB plug, comes with the P30, which allows long-term logging of the radio channel, including: timing, signal strength, and packet data.

The P30 can communicate with PC’s via USB. WinEtel and Dolphin View tools from EnOcean are supported for development engineers and field application experts. USB drivers are available for Windows, Linux and Mac OS-X.
